After updating my home theater components I found that the original cheap universal cables I had previously used were not good enough to handle the new technology of the components themselves to use. A few friends have told me that despite the high price, monster cables are the way to go. So I started searching the internet for a discount as I still don't want to pay around $100 for a cable. I stumbled across a couple of options that I initially thought were "fake" as they turned out not only to be monsters but also top notch cables (I later found out they were top notch a year or two ago but not currently) and for <$50. I have to thank all the reviewers because that made me take the risk, these cables have a lot of great reviews. Anyway, they got in and they're perfectly legal. When I replaced the old generics with these new monsters I was beyond happy, my picture is freaking awesome and the sound is ridiculous. I always use Tron Blu-ray to test my home theater and no matter how many times I watch it, I usually switch to specific scenes that I know will push my components to the limit, but I ended up with mine watched the whole movie. and without realizing it. As for this particular cable, the wire is thick and strong, although it's still more flexible than its newer cable, which has a higher rating. The plugs fit perfectly and are gold plated. I definitely recommend this product, just look for a reasonable price (you probably don't need the really expensive ones yet).
