This is a full review of what I thought of the product when it arrived. I may have overdone the ingredients, but I was dying to know what my bastard was eating. I thought you would like to know too. (Some of my research is incomplete. I'm just listing a few things each of these ingredients do for gecko health.) with the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.- Whey protein isolate (a protein that ensures optimal growth and development).- Dried Egg- Dicalcium phosphate (helps maintain calcium in the body).- Lecithin (helps prevent the two ingredients from separating from mixing) - Algae meal - Potassium sorbate (suppresses mold growth). - Xanthan gum (thickens, emulsifies and stabilizes water-based products). Fermentation extracts: - dried Aspergilus niger (to increase the production of amino acids, enzymes). B. Amylases, Pectinases and Proteases - Dried Aspergilus oriza (used to increase the production of high levels of fungal alpha-amylase). .- Dried Lactobacillus acidophilus (supports healthy digestion by producing lactic acid).- Mixed Tocopherols (Vitamin E. A blend of materials based on Vitamin E).- Choline Chloride (Vitamin B4. Formulated to support animal growth ).- Sodium Chloride (Salt has many uses! Mainly: Allows absorption of antibiotic, antifungal or anthelmintic drugs. Helps treat parasitic, fungal and bacterial infections. It is also known to reduce stress and osmoregulatory stress diseases. - Ferrous Fumarate ( used to supplement (increase) iron absorption).- Beta-Carotene (Vitamin A. Helps small intestine. Also helps with immune function, possibly vision and helps many organs in the body).- Inositol (Vitamin B. Dietary supplement).- Niacin ( Vitamin B-3 Dietary Supplement.- Seaweed Meal (many uses! Helps to boost the immune system, bot supports digestion, promotes skin health. Contains over 55 different many vitamins, many minerals and amino acids) - Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C. Dietary supplement. Used for various functions, one of which is supporting the immune system. - Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3. Used to promote bone health, maintain calcium levels and promote growth) - Riboflavin (Vitamin B2 (helps with metabolic function)) - Thiamine mononitrate (Vitamin B1. Dietary supplement and drug).- Vitamin A (see beta-carotene. I bet there are more than what is intended for our reptiles, but it is difficult to decide which one!).- Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6. Used to treat disorders, diseases, infections.- Biotin (Vitamin H. Supplements fatty acids and glucose)- Folic Acid ( Vitamin B9. Used as a dietary supplement and for food fortification. Also helps the body with DNA and RNA).- Sulfur (helps and supports amino acids). Acids).- Zinc Oxide (helps the body to produce various hormones including glucose, insulin, growth hormone and sex hormone).- Vitamin B12 (this vitamin is mainly involved in the metabolism of every cell in the animal body. It has so many functions, I will not to name them all. It is formed in the gut. Without it, the reptile can experience slow growth, dystrophy in the legs and increased mortality. Very interesting what I found! My crested gecko loved the papaya flavored puree. Now are all crested geckos are different, so don't complain that "my crested gecko won't eat it!" It might not be his/her cup of tea! Never mind! Strong-smelling ingredients are definitely attractive. For a longer one Shelf life, it can also be kept in the fridge!I recommend trying this fragrance!
