Be careful with it for laser cutters
In general, this is not the best type of bed for cutting wood materials. I was cutting 1/8 inch thick basswood and heard pops the whole time. Spinning around us, the cells tend to collect gases and then get ignited by the laser and explode. The noise is not strong, but there is a risk of fire. So I took mine back and built a pen holder that allows for good airflow.
