When you use a regular plastic or non-conductive screwdriver handle when working with a PC, static electricity travels down the handle (assuming you are not grounded) along the shaft and is transferred to any conductive screwdriver material ( chips, transistors, etc.) etc.) touches the tip of the screwdriver. This tool is equipped with an anti-static, low-conductivity handle, so the build-up of static electricity is controlled and always kept to a minimum.
