Review on 🎄 Sparkling Christmas Tree Star Topper - Glittering Treetop Ornament with Warm Lights - 10 Inches by Michael Welborn

We bought this shiny light gold star because it looked so pretty online and the description matched our expectations. Unfortunately, after we unpacked Star; the glitter covered all our dresses, the carpet and everything around us. We were amazed at how much glitter fell off. When we were ready to place the star on our tree; Glitter literally falls like snow on us, the tree and everything around us. When we finally got everything together and sat down to admire our beautiful Christmas tree; We were so saddened by the star because we saw/saw more brilliance when handling the star than actually when it was in place! Frustration quickly set in and here we are back in the store trying to find "the real deal”; A really nice star topper that should last longer than you take it out of the box. In addition, the Star comes with a short battery box, which is low, has no remote control and therefore cannot be connected to the rest of the tree lights. We have a large/tall tree (7ft) and it would be inconvenient to take a ladder every time we need to change the battery. The tree light also has no timer! Shame and waste of time. PS: We actually got the idea to spray the tree after unwrapping it to try to get the shine on the star; but we didn't as we didn't know how the spray adhesive would interact with the rest of the star. Also, the purpose of the purchase is NOT to try to "fix" the product when it is first unpacked.
