If it came with clear instructions I would give it 5 stars. Whatever it is, I want to be able to connect to the campsite WiFi to create a home network for my RV. To do this, you have to put the device in WISP mode, select WLAN in the campsite, enter the password and you are good to go. I connected my HooToo travel router to create a wireless LAN and now I have all my devices. based on a more secure network. I have no problems as long as the campsite has a decent capacity. This is particularly useful on campsites where there is only one hotspot at the club. I haven't had a chance to test the distance yet, so I'll update this review once I have more experience with the device. 45 days later ====================== The device has worked well at several campsites, but I haven't had the opportunity to test a real distance. If the campground has open WiFi that requires a web browser login (usually paid sites) you might be out of luck as I've only been able to get it to work with half the sites with that kind of security. I often had to log in directly at the campsite, then go back to my mobile home and connect via KuWFi. If we just connect to a public place with no security, or use a secure connection with only a password, it seems to work fine. I'm very disappointed that I can't connect it to iPhone/iPad hotspots. Sometimes there is just no Wi-Fi signal, and if I can't connect to my hotspot device, my network is down and I'm using my laptop again. I want this fixed. I can see the devices, it supports the required kind of security, but nothing happens when I click the connect button in the browser.
