I used this printer and bought it very cheaply (about $45) as a backup for my small HP 636 Snap Shop printer. These printers are stand alone, very small and can be used without a computer. Not a lot of frills on either model, but enough to make a more than decent print. These little printers (now almost antiques and new ones are sorely scarce) have risen in price more than four to five times since they were first introduced a few years ago. I've made hundreds of prints with the HP 636 and never had a problem. For some reason, HP stopped making them, but luckily they continue to make ink cartridges for them. If the price is right I would recommend any of these small HP printers to anyone looking for a small snapshot printer.
