I like how the magnet works
This is NOT an instant read thermometer. Yes, it responds instantly, but it takes 20-30 seconds to actually detect the temperature of the meat. Much too long. The control buttons are tiny and require a fingernail to operate. Buttons cannot be pressed while wearing gloves. The product is made of cheap plastic and is made in China. On the plus side I love the magnet function, it has a recommended cooking temperature, I didn't return it and it was cheap.
