My sporting dog's wireless remote control requires the collar to pass through a narrow slot. I had a Grain Valley Signature collar for my dog and it worked great but I couldn't find another color to easily distinguish my dog's collar so I bought this extreme version. It's so thick it can barely fit through the slot in the receiver, and if you cut it off it'll fall apart instantly. I ended up cutting out the AV shape and melted it with a lighter, stretching and squeezing it with pliers to make it thin enough for me to start and with a lot of effort I went through. I wouldn't order them again. for this purpose. I also don't like that even the tie rod that the sag goes through is cheap plastic. The Grain Valley is metal and seems more reliable.
