Doesn't spin by itself but if you put it on top of a spinning fan lol. Communication is good, I like that it doesn't use the internet. The picture quality is poor, but at least I can see if she's standing or sitting, awake or asleep. I really like that it's quiet until the baby starts making noises and then it starts transmitting sounds. There are even settings to control whether you're alerted with every beep or just loud crying. It also has a backlight and vibration to alert you if you prefer sound. I like that it monitors the temperature in the child's room. It's cool that it plays lullabies and you can talk to your baby, but those features aren't needed just yet. It seems to include a charge for the promised time. I usually leave it on by my bed at night, but I carry it around with me when I sleep. I like that it's a stand alone thing and not just an app because my phone isn't always reliable enough to work properly. I also really like the design. And love love love that I can see the baby at night but there is no light in her room to disturb her. The colors are just fun with night vision, but that doesn't bother me.
