Let me start off by saying that this is a really cute costume. I bought this costume for my daughter who was in a play at school. When it arrived she was excited to try it on. I found the material to be really thin and she clearly needed to wear clothes underneath, the front of the costume has a button closure which I don't care for at all, I think it would have been better just to have a zipped front. I found it odd that the back of the costume has a button closure as well, it just looks cheaply made. After reading multiple reviews of people advising to buy a size up, I'm glad I did because when she did put it on it clearly needed to be ordered that extra size up. Now it was a good thing that she only needed this costume during the play because it didn't wind up lasting very long. Remember I told you about the thin material and the button closures? Somehow a few of the buttons popped off during her wardrobe change, which doesn't surprise me because they looked like they were loosely sewn on in the first place, but when the buttons popped off some of the flimsy fabric tore with it. In my opinion, whomever decides to buy this costume please don't assume that it's going to last more than a few days because it won't.
