Review on πŸ“¬ Premium A4 Orange Rubber Stamp Sheet for Laser Engraving Machine (2.3mm Thickness) by Kelly Caballes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks good for laser cutting

I've been etching wood with my laser cutter for about three years, but this is my first time trying to etch rubber. So take my rating for what it's worth. First, the rubber feels very durable right out of the box. I didn't try very hard, but I don't think you can accidentally easily bend or tear it. I lowered the laser settings I do for wood because I didn't know what to expect. The first pass produced a very bright ghost image. Then I used the same settings as for the tree and didn't get anything better. Then I went for 1.5 times that what I use for wood and I got the stamp you see in the photo. For pruning I passed in 1, 5 times more than for a tree in one pass and I had to pass twice. Then I removed the remains that I had photographed. This is from a 1.8 inch square punch. The stamp itself came out pretty good I think considering it's a face. I did it on wood first, and the results are identical. Haven't tried it yet, but I think I could very well get by with a sharp 12pt or even 10pt font considering it's a face. I did it on a tree first and the results are identical. I haven't tried it yet, but I think I could do with a very clear 12 point font or even 10 point font. Overall I think it's pretty good stuff. Just be prepared to clean the laser cutter every time you use it. Considering it's a face, I did it on wood first and the results are identical.
