I bought this bag specifically to keep my featherweight sewing machine as a personal item on the plane. It fits so well in my pocket and I even put other things in it. But it was so hard and uncomfortable that I was unhappy. It fits in the upper basket. The big downside is that the strap on the back was too narrow to fit in the luggage handle. That meant I had to balance it on the suitcase. Extremely impractical! When I got to my destination, the first thing I did was buy another brand of wheels.
