Where have they been all my life? We always have extra comforters, duvets, mattress pads, etc. I recently changed my mattress pad to a memory foam mattress pad for more comfort. I used two pillowcases - they were almost new so I was able to wash them then roll them up and store them on the laundry rack. They work great. The fabric they're made of actually helps you get things in, even if they're a bit tight. I was able to fold things in such a way that there was enough space in front for the pockets to close completely. This helps keep the duvets clean while they are in storage. As a bonus, I tried putting a set in a vacuum bag for storage and it could get pretty small once all the air was removed.
