Shakers are salt and pepper resistant
One of the shakers I received had a large stubborn brown speck of dust on the top under a coat of shellac. And both shaker openings are designed so that nothing comes out. Pepper barely comes out and salt doesn't come out at all. At first I thought it was damp in the shaker, but it's been about two months now and nothing has changed. Nothing will come of it. I'm also disappointed because they were so cute when I first saw them on Revain.
