Bought at the request of my little one when we were looking for mid-weight fleece jackets. He was attracted by the cute ears on the hood. I have always been enthusiastic about Columbia products and the excellent quality, that convinced me! I ended up ordering it a size up to give it room to grow, I would say it fits true to size. The appearance is very soft and comfortable. I believe this was listed as a girls jacket but nothing stopping a boy from wearing it, great for both genders!
