Review on Alpha Rider Joint Banding Clamps by Charles Notti

Terrible IMO product. 20 IMO band clamps cannot be used on CV joints as they are just metal ties which unfortunately rely on a ball bearing to tighten once pulled. The ball bearing has a play of approx. 1 mm + from the possibility of superimposed thrust to snapping. This prevents it from being tight enough to prevent lube from getting under the metal clip. The clamp was so loose that it twisted and fell off, spilling my lube. Very disappointed and insisting that the use of a constant velocity joint be removed from this product as it doesn't work to clamp the constant velocity boot as I don't think it's possible to tighten it.
