This thing is intense. I took it because I work on the computer almost every day. I started to feel pain in my wrists, elbows and arms. There was fear of the carpell tunnel and I realized something had to be done. I started looking for hand strengthening devices to use during calls and such and came across this type of trainer. It took a few tries to figure out the right rotation. All I can say is let the ball tell you how fast to turn at the beginning. If the gyroscope is on the right side, your hand should follow it and slowly accelerate. When I first started I was really surprised at how quickly I got tired, my hands and grip were so weak. Now I do a few times a week for 5 minutes on each hand. I usually run it at medium speed for about 4.5 minutes and get really fast in the last thirty seconds. That's all I have to keep from getting out of hand at the end. If I continue my routine the pain is gone but if I deviate from it the pain will return within a few weeks so I know it's helping. I had two strings to wind up the gyroscope in case one was lost or broken. While I'm sitting in front of my computer at work, I'll have one of these.
