Noticeable increase in torque and acceleration at low rpm on my 1977 AMC 258. I have all the standard bores and necks except the cylinders are honed and the head is .030 milled. The idle is smooth, but you can hear the difference in the sound of the exhaust that the camshaft makes when accelerating. Be sure to use a good assembly lube and oil run-in additive and follow the included instructions to open the cam. Change the oil and filter after the first 25 minutes break-in, then after 100 miles and again after 500 miles. After that, changes are normal, and be sure to add a zinc additive with every oil change, as modern oils don't have enough, and flat-thrust engines need it. I used Comp Cam's Pause Add-on.
