No So Happy on Substance Analysis Instrumentation
I've had big ones Hopes in the 1766. The meter I received was never able to read the salinity anywhere within the acceptable range (compared to the other two manual salt PPM methods). It may now be that the device was damaged in delivery by ONTRAC who threw it through our gates. For reference, we followed the instructions closely and took numerous measurements. Readings consistently fluctuated within +/- 100ppm and were much higher than my old manual methods.
- 0 to 99.9 ppm (mg/L), 100 to 999 ppm (mg/L), 1.00 to 9.99 ppm TDS/Salinity Range
