If suitable. Remove spare part. Remove the heat shield. Position the brackets so the rear holes are closer to the center of the truck (the rear rack studs are further away). You can access all of the rail studs from the back of the truck. The rail bolts are 110 ft/lb and some cannot be loosened with a torque wrench. A private key with a cheat bar is used. First, I practiced the "feel" of the bolts tightened with a torque wrench. The rail studs above the gas tank are accessible from the back of the truck. Used both sets of screws on truck tracks.
