I bought these to help me do physical therapy / rehab at home after having a fixation of my femur with hardware. The plan was to do banded squats and work my way up through the bands, however only one of these fit over my legs and felt comfortable (the largest one). The other two smaller bands were so tight it caused my knees to collapse and did not have enough strength to push them back out.I thought perhaps it was just from muscle atrophy so I took them off and attempted to stretch them with my arms (more than adequate strength as I've still been working out my upper body) and they were still impossible to move. You can tell these are cheaply made and have no stretch to them. They are just woven nylon bands with a few strings of elastic or rubber through them to make you think they are stretchable.I would look elsewhere for bands to do hip training with if you actually want to be able to push against them and have stretch. If the goal is to lock your legs in place with no ability to move, then these are right up your alley.
