I have been a professional photographer for 40 years and I can say that this is a very good good value old school manual lens. Sturdy, quality metal construction, fairly sharp real glass, good contrast and color rendition, and a very fast maximum aperture value that's nice to have, and decently sharp wide aperture (better than camera phones, of course!) The other reviews here say the general details of the lens are very good covered and I totally agree with the positive reviews and their points of view. If you are looking for a fast, AFFORDABLE all-metal and glass lens, this is a great choice. And the last word; The lens is being shipped from China so if it's important to you it will take a couple of weeks - I ordered mine on 16th October and it arrived today 10th November. Amazingly beautiful packaging in a beautiful black box and molded foam. . Also comes with a boxed cleaning kit consisting of nylon gloves, a microfiber cloth and a small spray bottle of cleaning liquid.
