These are standard RS6 filters made in Mexico. They must be changed more often than indicated. I take well water and get about a month from a filter. Although they filter out most of the sediment, a significant portion of it still passes through. But I'm still much better off with the Omnifilter B7 and these cartridges than without where I had to clean my washing machine screen about every 5 loads or so! I think this is a decent, inexpensive solution to reducing buildup in your water supply, especially if you have well water.
