I used this epoxy to fix a stubborn aluminum trim problem. I've tried Bondo and other external products but they never lasted more than a season. The siding is on the hot side of the house, and the sun and rain would put a damper on any repairs I attempted. It was easy to sculpt and adjust the texture of the fairing, unlike bondo, which you'll have to get right or forget for the first few minutes. We also used it to fill in a bumper dent before painting to minimize the chance of damage occurring. And the original purpose of this material was to fix a chip in a white porcelain bath. The only thing that stays on the chip year after year. The color wasn't perfect but the big black chip looks really bad when this stuff could be easily flattened to tub level and looked better than just painting the chips. Very happy with the product. You can use a slightly dampened fingertip to make it really nice and smooth.
