I saw a few negative reviews but a lot of positive ones so I bought it. The one I got is great! It's repetitive, and according to my machinist, it's absolutely accurate. Certainly within 0.1 degrees. as advertised. Mine doesn't have the slow response noticed by some; at least it's not slow for my purposes. I would say the update takes about a second or so. There were also a few comments on the "ERROR" message that sometimes appears on the display. Note that the gauge is designed to read left or right angles; not front to back. I noticed that this ERROR appears when you tilt the sensor more than five degrees forward or backward. However, I have also found that when the vertical position is restored, the ERROR disappears and the readings remain fairly accurate. In other words; No harm, it just tells you it can't read properly. It's worth noting that the instructions that come with it say that for the best accuracy, you can use a precision square to ensure the transducer isn't tilted forward or backward. Overall I can say that this little device is very useful and worth the money. Judging by the five stars, I can recommend it.
