apparently I have the wrong job! The dealer wanted to charge me $560 to replace the hood pillars. I decided to do a little research and try to replace them myself. It seemed like replacing my own cowl stays would be easy enough after watching a few videos and purchasing these cowl stays. Seriously, one of the easiest things I've ever made! It only took me about 5 minutes. Based on how much the dealer wanted to charge me, within 8 hours I was making over $50,000 a day replacing hood pillars! SO FUNNY! Save yourself unnecessary costs and replace the hood columns yourself.
