UPDATE August 2021 The creaking noise was caused by the back of the chair not fitting properly. This was because the screw in the female part of the hinge was not fully screwed in, which prevented the male part from being fully inserted. See pictures. The rest of the chair is superb and there is no more creaking. I'm leaving 4 stars because I needed to find and fix the squeaking issue. ------------------ We decided to buy the Nurture & Glider instead of the Pottery Barn Kids, mainly because we could have the Glider delivered before the baby was born in September became! Plus, the adjustable headrest is an added bonus. Would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the occasional creaking (described below). Pros: * delivered quickly and undamaged * easy to assemble * the base is heavy but easily goes through doors * the fabric texture is soft and comfortable (Tbc on durability) * the fabric seems easy to clean (needs more testing, will be continued ) *the motor is pretty quiet* like the adjustable headrest idea, although the benefit isn't certain. Disadvantages: * There is an occasional squeak when swinging the paraglider, although it is not constant. The creaking appears to be coming from where the backrest meets the base. I'll try reattaching the spine to see if that helps (further testing needed, will keep an eye on it).
