Review on Cordiant Winter Drive 195/55 R15 85T by Adam Borken-Hagen ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I am writing a review to help with the choice of the season. Last year I changed the car and had to buy wheels. I tried to choose from Nokia and Gislaved according to old preferences, but they turned out to be poorly accessible. Stumbled upon Cordiant. At first, I was embarrassed by the tread pattern, promising (from experience) an increased noise level and reviews about the lack of controllability at a positive temperature, but the very first kilometers dispelled my doubts completely. Tires were in stock. I chose a little wider for reasons of better braking relative to acceleration (175 instead of 165). Tires are almost silent up to 120 km. No more overclocking, for winter. On porridge, packed and loose snow, it rows and slows down remarkably. In the yard in a snowdrift / out of a snowdrift without problems. On ice, of course, it cannot be compared with a studded one at all, but the car slows down noticeably and is controlled enough. The ride is predictable! Of course, the car can be torn off during acceleration and braked by ABS, but rubber allows it in another way, if you do not turn 60 km / h at 90 degrees. Proezdil all winter with the fear that I'm not scared))) This winter will be the 20th, as I'm driving. Regarding asphalt, there may be a slight difference in behavior at positive temperatures, but it probably becomes more pronounced on heavy machines. I use rubber on a Chinese nanomachine. Summing up, I think the acquisition is SUPER profitable. The main thing is to accelerate, turn and brake with your HEAD! Good luck on the roads!

Pros
  • For all the characteristics I put a solid FIVE. Except, of course, ice.
