To let our guests know when the bathroom is in use
I bought this for private use because our bathroom is tiny and the door opens to the outside. It has a commercial feel due to its size and clean lines. It seems well researched and works well. We would have preferred it to be unlocked by turning the handle from the inside, but opening it requires disengaging the lock. The reason we got it was that the lever is more hygienic to open and close with your elbow.
