After reading a number of glowing reviews on this phone, I went ahead and purchased it. It was the least expensive phone that offered water resistance at the time of purchase (which was something I required), and at the same time, it did not have the appearance of a brick or the bottom of a pair of Chinese sneakers. If a video is playing in the background or in a thumbnail, then the brakes are such that the sound stutters and the image starts to freeze whenever you use a browser or any messenger. This makes it impossible to use, and everything moves more slowly and appears less vibrant as a result. When this occurs, the response time to the sensor surpasses a second, and you just wish to call. Horrible, and a complete waste of money. There was a Redmi Note 8 Pro available that was one thousand times faster and cost only one-half as much as this piece of junk. The fact that oled displays are such a fascinating issue was the only thing that made up for my disappointment in Xiaomi in this calculator. The refresh rate of this screen is only three frames per second, which is true; but, what is the point of that? To the best of my knowledge, people who praise this crap only use their cellphones as paperweights due to the fact that even the dialer function has been disabled in these devices.
