Very happy with: Power strips

I got this to protect my new Samsung 55" 3D LED, Blue Ray player, sound system and satellite box. I've been plagued by the choice of network filters. I've had the Searched the internet and always found someone who hated almost every model I've tested Made me a little nervous I finally chose this unit for the following reasons: At 3600 joules it's rated higher than most others in in this price range, it's UL rated at 330 volts (which is the best possible rating I know of) and Ultimate at $250,000 Lifetime insurance for connected devices Tripp Lite sells a lot of surge protectors to hospitals, which I like too the range of functions and the price Twelve points of sale Four "always on" (one of which is designated as "master") and eight "slaves". ". The "always on" sockets are widely spaced to allow the use of large transformer plugs. All sockets have covers that can be easily placed over unused sockets. I set up my TV as a "master" with Blue Ray and connected audio to the "slave" outputs. When I turn on the TV, Blue Ray and sound turn on automatically. You don't have to search for three remote controls just to watch TV. When I turn off the TV, the slave devices turn off. This prevents these devices from consuming vampire energy (the TV still consumes power in standby mode). The device has a switch on the bottom to disable this feature. Then all sockets work as "always on". All sockets are also protected in any mode. The satellite box is plugged into an always-on outlet, so it doesn't have to be turned on every time I turn on the TV. I don't have wired or network connections so I can't comment on them at this time. Overall great quality, features work as advertised. Buy it.
