Review on La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying 🧼 Foaming Gel Cleanser: Perfect for Oily Skin! by Wendy Roney

A godsend for oily skin

I can only assume that anyone who has tried this product has also tried a dozen other skincare products that claim to get rid of oily skin but are sensitive enough not to dry it out . I also assume that most people searching this product have not been able to find a legitimate skin care product that works. Maybe it's because the French are creative and expect the best, but they know how to make a damn cool toner. When I first tried the product I thought it was useless because it felt a lot like water on my face (although it's still viscous - an odd feeling that you'll get used to). The smell is also a bit strange: like grandma's, but with a touch of medicinal cleaner. Despite the smell and lack of that "I'm definitely clean!" feeling, this stuff has worked wonders for my face. It doesn't dry out my face, which means my face isn't constantly trying to convince itself by producing more oil, and it takes out the "shine" well (anyone with oily faces knows what I'm talking about) . This is my morning shower product and it has really helped my skin look better. As usual, this product may not work for you (damn the dermatology gods!) but it does for me. Buy one, use it for a week and see what happens. Much luck!
