I got this kit because I really wanted keyless entry and push button start and it was the cheapest kit. Even the more expensive ones had issues so I said what the heck. Here are the problems: Short wires to ground, but for some reason there are actually two wires. I cut the wire that comes straight out of the box and used ground on the ignition harness and it only works fine with one. By the way, as far as I know, the oil pressure cable is only used for remote starting. With the start button, the starter is activated for the set time. Also, do not connect the horn wire. I personally find the unlock and unlock beep to be very annoying. There's no trigger or trunk button on the remote, which is a little annoying when you're walking out of a store and want to load groceries. You have to open the door and then open the trunk. Key fobs came without batteries. Truth? There was no immobilizer bypass in the kit, which I think is a good thing, but the buyer should beware. There were zips in the kit, but in my opinion they are not enough. Normal quality button. Sometimes I press the button lightly and it doesn't register. The instructions were pretty vague. If you're going to install one of these, you should have a wiring diagram showing wire colors, as well as a factory wiring manual so you can see connector locations, pinouts, etc. * Plan ahead before ordering. * If you turn off the car by pressing the brake, it will start again. I would rate it 5 stars if it weren't for this problem. It's so annoying. Please let me know if my device is defective and should not. Another annoyance is that unlike the Easyguard kit, there are no DIP switches to configure these settings. This device sends a single pulse to unlock the doors, whereas in my car only the driver's door opens. There is no way to reprogram this afaik. Very annoying. All in all, I would definitely recommend this device. It's much more convenient than taking out the fob and key, pressing the unlock button, inserting the key and turning it on.
