Review on Blackboard Letter-Size Reusable Notebook Folio Cover - Protective Black Cover for Boogie Board (8.5”x11”), Black (Blackboard Letter Sold Separately) by Andy Jolley

This product is for Blackboard Note with 5.5" x 7.25" writing area. (The product listing incorrectly states a width of 8.5 inches instead of 5.5 inches.) The cover protects both the front and back of the writing area, prevents grid/line cards from falling out or getting damaged on the back, and prevents accidental scribbling on the front. Pressing the outside of the lid still marks the writing surface, albeit much fainter than markings from the pen. The buttons and the pen compartment are not closed with a book cover. The magnetic areas on the back aren't covered by a cover, although the back is so thick that the magnets aren't likely to touch each other when the back is laid flat. There were actually no instructions on the lid for attaching it to the Blackboard Note, although it was easy to find out. The two brackets on the right side of the lid hook onto the side of the tablet, and the single bracket on the left side is attached to an elastic fabric strap so it can be stretched to hook onto the left side of the tablet. Nothing seems to prevent the lid from opening to the right instead of the left, although the embossed text on the lid would be upside down in this configuration.
