Review on πŸ¦ƒ Wysong Epigen Turkey Canned Formula Pet Food for Dogs, Cats, and Ferrets by Jon Krishna

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You can use it for kidney failure (renal insufficiency) in a dog, cat or ferret without a vet!

Never buy a can, that's a huge rip off, buy 12. In any new cat food, every time you feed them 'regular' food, add a little bit until they settle got used to it. Without much explanation, this is very good food for any predator. For K/D issues, especially since it only has 0.60 phosphorus! "Prescription" diet foods, which MUST be approved by a veterinarian, range from about .40 to .70. And something like Friskies can have over 2.0, which is very bad for K/D animals. It also does not contain flavor enhancers or high amounts of salt. So yes, it's bland compared to other pet foods. This turkey meal costs about 1/3 the cost of animal feed. Think of this food as unsalted baked potato chips, yes. good crispy fried salty BBQ chips are much tastier but not good for you at all. Do your research and you will see. PS Friskies (and others) are as good for young healthy cats as BBQ chips are for young healthy humans. But if you have any kidney problems, both are big no-gos. Hope that helps.
