The USB adapter is WAY too slow. Just buy USB-C to USB instead.

I was very happy when it appeared. unfortunately the usb adapter doesn't communicate quickly enough with the cable and headset. this will result in a PERMANENT shutdown. Worst of all, steamvr crashes on shutdown. it made everything unplayable. I'm returning mine and getting a refund. :(
