Great little backup radio with solid battery life

I ordered this radio and tested it very thoroughly. I've always wanted an emergency radio and it fits. The crank produces 6 minutes of work for every 3 minutes of running. It seems like a lot, but there just isn't much power in the hand. The solar panel is pretty slow, but it did the job. 3.5 hours of charging gives about 3 hours of radio use. Again pretty fair considering the size of the panel. What struck me was how long the battery lasted when I fully charged it via USB. The first charge took 5 hours. Then I played radio 12 hours a day for 3 days. I then let it run for 24 hours until it finally died overnight. I was able to get it working in 30 seconds of cranking. I was amazed when I got almost 60 hours of work. The main thing is that the internal non-removable battery is fully charged. The tuner knobs are definitely weak. They didn't pop out, but they're not incredibly durable. The tuner has a very narrow range. But the vocal length is really short, so that's to be expected. The weather portion of the radio worked incredibly well. I'm very happy to have this feature, even more so than AM/FM. The radio is sensitive to hold if the station is not very stable. This is quite normal with inexpensive analogue radios. The flashlight and USB charging features are pretty good too. It's definitely a buy, but it's not meant to be abused. You have to spend a lot more if you want this.
