The original protective film that I had on the fob for many years (worn out) covered the entire fob except for the buttons. This covers the ENTIRE key fob, including the buttons. It was difficult to even put this protective case on the key fob, but after wrestling with it for about 15 minutes I finally got the cover fully slid onto the key fob. The problem is that the case is so tight that it almost presses the keys by itself. With this protective cover, it starts to send button signals to the vehicle at the slightest pressure on the key fob. Don't even think about putting your key fob in your pocket or bag with this case on as it will most certainly start sending unintended button signals to the car like it did to me.
