As my name suggests, this product is great for people with exceptionally oily hair. I thought my hair was greasy enough that this shampoo wouldn't dry it out too much, but I was wrong. This shampoo makes my hair very dry. However! In combination with an air conditioner it is ok. Honestly, I prefer to wash out the oils almost completely, but I feel like this shampoo washes away too many natural oils. I strongly advise you not to skip the conditioner with it. Shampoo: Good smell. Not super strong either. Extremely good job cleaning your hair but also seems to wash too much oil from you. I have very fine hair and it takes about 3 pumps to lather. If you like a low-lather shampoo, this might be for you. Air conditioning:. I hate this. Honestly. The smell is kind of sour to me, I don't know why. It smells almost like medicine and completely contradicts the pleasantly invigorating smell of shampoo. Regardless, I've tried this and. to be honest? Disappointing results, especially considering the shampoo is SO very dry hair - at least it was for me. I switched to my Maui Coconut Conditioner and found I had to use way more than usual to revitalize my hair after using this stuff. Overall, the conditioner feels a bit overdue with this shampoo. It doesn't go together at all and did NOT revitalize my hair after what seemed like a harsh shampoo. Even though my hair was dry without proper conditioning, it did NOT look damaged. It definitely gives my hair a nice healthy shine. If you have fairly dry or normally oily hair I don't think this is the product for you. After that, I'll continue my quest for the perfect shampoo, but in the meantime, I'm considering returning to Maui.
