I just received this appliance and I have cooked Jasmine Basmati Rice and Cut Steel Oatmeal (quickly 3 minutes) - to perfection - the bowl has changed compared to my flavor 8 years ago greatly improved. - it definitely doesn't stick or scratch - it's easy to clean. The Fast Rice feature is great if you want to save a few minutes (4 minutes less - counting 6 minutes instead of 10 minutes) - as long as you control the rice to water ratio, you'll have perfect rice! - Using the measuring cup that comes with the kit, I used 2 cups (uncooked rice - jasmine) to 3 cups of water (with a measuring cup, a good measuring cup works as for rice) and it turned out perfect. So far, so good!
