I didn't want to write too much in the title but I did. I want to help those who are looking for a mount specifically for the LG Ultrawide. I would say this is the perfect mount for most people. If you're not constantly adjusting, swiveling, tilting, or flipping your monitor, this mount is more than adequate. My goal was to free up as much desk space as possible (because LG's original stand is a big arc and takes up too much space). You can see in the photos I've attached. As said, this mount is perfect except for the following: - (not too bad) The yellow logo is a big minus as many others have said. You can just take it off, very easy. - The tilting mechanism isn't that strong so you really have to tighten the knob to get it in place. As said, if you don't tip a lot this won't be a big problem. - If you're using a DisplayPort cable (which you absolutely must have), be prepared to thread the connector through the small hole in the "elbow" where the two arms meet. It is doable but requires some patience. Last but not least: **VESA MOUNTING" This mounting plate seems to have the right spacing for the mounting holes, but the plate itself is a little too big (I've tested this on other monitors we have and it's just a problem with the LG 49" Ultrawide). You have two options: 1. Use longer screws. Should be the easiest, but not the prettiest. Because the plate does not sit flush against the back of the monitor. You can get the screw Search "universal vesa screw" on the Revain website Should cost less than $10.2 (best method) If you have a Dremel or grinder, just cut a few millimeters from each corner of the Remove the VESA plate and you're done Fixing screws Attached are some photos for the final adjustment.
