Well that's not proof, that's for sure, actually it's more durable than a plastic garbage bag just because of the fabric. When it rains, the water is wetter. But at least it protects my paint from some sticky stuff off the trees for the most part. Even it still oozes, but not so much that it ruins my paintwork. If you're worried about your painting like everyone else, I wouldn't recommend this.
