Enter the beast best in showers and shower parts

This thing is a beast. It's heavy and well made. We installed it after the shower was completely ripped so the plumbers were able to add extra frames between the posts to hold this beast (and it's necessary - the shower bracket attaches with 4 long screws and is heavy - you want that it is installed in solid wood ). I don't think it would be that easy to replace an existing shower mount with one unless you know there is a solid frame behind it. We paired it with a Delta shower head that rotates itself, so this thing is fully articulated! You can rotate the shower head all the way to the wall and tilt it at an angle as if a regular shower head comes out of the wall, or you can rotate it to the center and enjoy the head rain shower effect. . The only thing it can't do is a telescope (ha)! You need to make sure your tile and grout is fully cured before screwing this thing in. We ended up getting a few micro-cracks from overzealous power tools, probably because the glue under the tile was still a bit soft. It's not worth replacing the tile because the thing is rock solid and removing it does more harm than good, so we've patched it and will live with tiny cracks. It might even be a good idea to smear the tile around the showerhead to ensure the back of the tile is fully covered so the tile can withstand drilling stresses.
