Not sure if it works.

I purchased this with the intent of putting it on my dog to reduce his nighttime barking, but didn't have the heart to do it so the item sits unwrapped in a corner somewhere. Thankfully, my dog has gotten over his nighttime barking and now my husband and I can again sleep through the night!

Prevents biting, screaming and accidental eating

Cons

It may make some breeds look more menacing and less approachable to people
