I was shocked at how quiet these fans are but how well they cool my laptop! Since I've been working from home, my laptop is doing a lot of work and getting very hot. Using this pad makes it a lot cooler - it still heats up on top but doesn't burn my hand like it used to. It also improves my laptop's performance because it doesn't get too hot. I also love that it tilts up - I've never had a laptop stand before, but I'll never go back, it's so much more convenient! The complaint is that it's a little bulky - it's very light, easy to slip into a backpack and carry around, but it's a bit thicker than I'd like. Otherwise this little one is perfect - highly recommend!
