I was looking for a stand that would give my 5 year old better zoom videos during remote learning and support a keyboard attached. I looked up and down. I chose this one because the photos showed that it can be clipped to horizontal edges (left/right) and vertical (top/bottom) - keeping the keyboard out of the way. brackets were. Unfortunately I couldn't and had to use it vertically. However, it still worked - even with the keyboard and Surface case. It's not the most stable of settings (if you touch the computer too hard it can slip out of its clamps from time to time), but given what I'm trying to do, it actually works well. This stand raises the surface just enough and allows it to be tilted down to give a good view of my young daughter while zooming (she's sitting at the dining table). I also love that it rotates so nicely to change direction when she moves to a different part of the table. Very happy with the purchase.
