Not a new part. That does not work.

Almost certain it was some kind of altered part. That does not work. There were scratches all over the body. I ended up watching a youtube video showing how to disassemble the metal contacts in the start button and clean them with rubbing alcohol and that solved my problem of the car not recognizing my key fob. I just keep it as a backup.
