The colors are beautiful in the package. I read several reviews to make sure the hair is damp before applying the chalk. I only wanted to do the ends of my daughters hair, so after she showered, we toweldried her hair and I started applying. The color did not go on well at all. It was very messy. But the worst part was - HER HAIR WAS IN KNOTS! I literally could not brush it out. She had to get back in the shower, wash her hair again and double condition it and we still had issues combing through the knots. I would not recommend chalk hair coloring for this reason.
