Connected to a desktop switch, you get gigabit. Connected to a Cisco corporate switch, only 100MB is reported. Contacted their main distributor and they said the hardware in the tester could only negotiate 100MB but the software could see up to gigabit bandwidth. However, since Cisco switches slow down depending on the negotiation rate, the tester only shows 100 MB. It's not in the manual or anywhere on the site. He asked what could be done and was told to switch to the next model, which was twice the price. Tried to contact T3 directly but no response.
